Why have singing lessons

with me?

My Singing Experience

During my undergraduate degree, I studied operatic singing at the Royal Academy of Music. I have also completed a Masters degree in Text and Performance from RADA in 2017 having graduated from King's College London with a BMus (Hons) Music degree.

I have obtained a wealth of knowledge on the anatomy of the voice and how to nurture it in its infantile stages to ensure that the voice remains healthy to develop successfully. I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and the Association of Teachers of Singing and always continue to develop my learning of vocal technique to best inform my students.

I have performed regularly in a variety of genres and ensembles from an early age. Read more about my

performance experience

I have an Enhanced DBS checked and have worked in several schools and organisations with children of all ages.

BMus (Hons) | MA

I have studied Music and Performance at top institutions including King's College London, Royal Academy of Music and RADA

All of my lessons are focused on you/your child enjoying themselves whilst developing their voice.

What Happens in a Singing Lesson?

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned singer, each lesson will include work on your vocal technique, with clear and concise explanations, ready to put this into practice in your repertoire or song work. Depending on whether you are preparing for an exam, a performance or simply enjoying your singing ability, lessons may also include performance and stage presence awareness, aural and sight-singing training, combating stage nerves and effective song-learning technique.

Who Do You Teach?

I teach students of any age and ability. I believe you are never too young or too old to learn how to sing!

I teach both adults and children, either on a one-to-one basis or in small group lessons.

One-to-one lessons offer a more personal and concentrated focus on your voice and vocal development, and are the most popular lesson option for those looking to progress their vocal ability quickly with thorough, in-depth coaching.

Small group lessons can be beneficial for those who may find the prospect of a one-to-one lesson daunting to begin with, who may wish to progress to one-to-one lessons in the future. Small group lessons also provide us with the opportunity to work on harmony skills, song arranging and are particularly effective for siblings, friends or family members!

I have a 100% pass rate of taking students through ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabi from initial grades through Grade 8. Having received a high Distinction mark in my ABRSM Grade 8 Singing exam prior to attending university, I am confident in my ability to ensure that students receive the highest level of support and training through their exam preparation and enter at a time where they are confident in their ability to pass with the highest marks possible.
