Girl on a mission.
Young
Zoë Mace does not fit the mould of the usual child prodigy.
She should be overly precocious, spoilt rotten and self centred. But
this is one raising star with her feet firmly on the ground and her heart
very much in the right place.
The
latest example of this was yesterday's charity concert at Oxford's
New Theatre in aid of a host of charities. Organised by her parents,
Zoë was the star turn at the event,
ably backed by youngsters from Stagecoach theatre schools across Oxfordshire,
for a one-off concert, with the sole aim of helping others.
This
is not the way our child stars normally behave, but then Zoë's
not just another showbiz-obsessed wannabe. She's an ordinary, decent
girl with an extraordinary talent who is a credit to her parents.
If
Zoë makes it to the top in the world of entertainment, it will
be no more than she deserves
